Bureau of Drug and Narcotic has been accredited by Department of Science Service, Ministry of Science and Technology, Thailand in accordance with the International Standard ISO/IEC 17043 : 2010 - Conformity assessment – General requirements for proficiency testing since September 21st , 2016. The accredited programs are Pharmaceutical Assay by High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Dissolution test, Confirmatory Test of Narcotics in Urine, Screening Test of Narcotics in Urine and Analysis of Narcotics/Illicit Drugs in Seized Materials.

สำนักยาและวัตถุเสพติดได้รับการรับรองความสามารถผู้จัดโปรแกรมการทดสอบความชำนาญ ห้องปฏิบัติการ ตามมาตรฐาน ISO/IEC 17043 : 2010 เมื่อวันที่ 21 กันยายน 2559 จากกรม วิทยาศาสตร์บริการ โดยได้รับการรับรองทั้ง 3 แผนงาน รวม 5 โปรแกรมคือ การหาปริมาณตัวยา สำคัญด้วยเทคนิค HPLC การทดสอบการละลายของตัวยา การตรวจยืนยันสารเสพติดในปัสสาวะ การตรวจเบื้องต้นสารเสพติดในปัสสาวะ และการตรวจวิเคราะห์ยาเสพติดในของกลาง และเข้าร่วม ในพิธีมอบใบรับรองระบบงานห้องปฏิบัติการ เมื่อวันที่ 25 ตุลาคม 2559 ณ ห้องประชุมอัครเมธี กรมวิทยาศาสตร์บริการ
